My husband and I adopted a WONDERFUL German Shepherd yesterday from Cause for Paws. His name is Carson. We have only had him 24 hours and we are astounded. He knows all his basic commands. He’s great on a leash. He absolutely loved my grandchildren. And he follows us around all the time. He is a love. A word of advice……older dogs can be awesome. Carson is 8 years old and 80 pounds. Yes, he’s a little older, but another family did all the work with him. Carson has been in a rescue facility for 3 years but he still remembered what his original family taught him. And Shepherd’s HAVE to be included in a family. Period. You can tell someone loved him. His brother, Buddy, is also up for adoption I think. Anyway, we are so happy with our new son.
