Charitable sports betting is where you can use the proceeds from games, raffles, contests, etc to raise funds that will benefit education or be used for civic, public, and religious purposes. The Senate argued that the OCCC or Ohio Casino Control Commission will oversee activities and uphold regulations of the license holders in order to ensure that no one is exploited through illegal gaming practices.
